On May 1, 2026, Lucid Lucia released their brand-new studio album with a renewed line-up. The band proudly welcomes two renowned musicians—DJ Grazzhoppa and trumpet player Seba Colson—to its established core. Musically, Lucid Lucia stays true to its adventurous spirit, delivering a hypnotic blend of cosmic jazz-funk, psychedelic world grooves, instrumental hip hop, and leftfield electronica.

Powered by musicians who also perform with the likes of Leon Bridges, Sault, STUFF., Zap Mama and Defunkt, their live shows promise a unique and explosive experience. But beyond their own captivating sets, Lucid Lucia loves to collaborate.

In fact, cross-cultural collaboration is embedded in their DNA, and the band is highly eager to team up with local artists. For years, they have honed their collaborative skills as the resident house band for 'Nuff Said, a renowned multidisciplinary event celebrating global music, spoken word, diversity, and civil rights. Starting out as BRZZVLL (the predecessor to Lucid Lucia), they have shared the stage and locked grooves with international heavyweights like The Last Poets, Brother Ali, Marie Daulne, Tutu Puane, Amir Sulaiman, Selah Sue, and many more. The band would be thrilled to bring this same unifying spirit and bridge their sound with the vibrant local jazz scene.
